My Stream Gear: A Quick Overview

Hey everyone!

I wanted to give you a peek into my current streaming setup and share a bit about how it came together. Most of my gear was acquired during the first couple of months of the COVID lockdown, when I transitioned to working from home and decided it was time to upgrade from my old Dell laptop. I figured if I was going to be working from home, I might as well go all in and set up a robust system.

I’m really glad I did, as it’s turned out to be a versatile and powerful rig that’s served me well for various projects. Here’s a rundown of my setup:

  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Super
  • Case: NZXT H5
  • Motherboard: Z390 Aorus Elite
  • RAM: Corsair 16 GB
  • CPU: Intel i7-9700K @ 3.6 GHz
  • Storage: WD Black SN770 1TB NVMe, WD Black 2TB NVMe

For audio, I’m using the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless headphones, which deliver fantastic sound quality. My mouse of choice is the Logitech G502 Hero, known for its precision and comfort. As for my keyboard, I’m currently using a Razer Anansi, which has served me well for over a decade. I’m considering a switch to a mechanical keyboard soon, as I’ve heard a lot about their benefits, though I do appreciate the macro buttons on my current setup. It seems dedicated macro decks are the trend now, but old habits die hard!

That’s a quick overview of my streaming gear. If you have any questions about the setup or recommendations for a new keyboard, feel free to drop a comment!
